In at the beginning with Clarkson Organic Recycling

How T C Harrison JCB helped a garden centre grow into a budding composting and recylcling business and how, several years in, that relationship is still blooming.

If any machine in his yard goes down as a result of poor matching to the task in hand, Steve Clark, managing director of Clarkson Organic Recycling, knows exactly who to shout at - it'll be Mark Wrigglesworth, waste and recylcing sales executive at TCH. Why? Well, all the mbile machinery comes from JCB and always has done.

it all started for Steve running a garden centre business and after falling ill decided to find a less physically demanding job upon return. Was he wrong. He was completely naive at the time and to make matters worse, had no idea how to get a full scale production system started. Within days of getting a suitable premises sorted out at a site in Riby, Lincolnshire, it was then in 2007 that a 'nosey' Mark Wrigglesworth made his timely introductions to acertain machinery and equipment requirements. The rest as they say is history.

A 'maid of all work' was the first requirement - hence the arrival of a suitably equipped 541-70 Loadall. This has now been joined by a JS145 tracked excavator and more recently as production tonnage has expanded a JS220.

The ability to benefit from the combined experiences of other JCB waste and recycling customers (via James Richardson at JCB) has ensured Mark and the team at TCH have been able to supply each machine with the right equipment essential for a long, trouble-free life in the hostile working environment that is the composting business.
